Mirage's warranty limitations
If for
any reason you failed to be satisfied with your eVector,
Mirage, B-Can, Titan, Concorde or Rafale computer, you may
return it within 10 days after its original purchase for a
90 % refund of your purchase price. Mirage will charge you
10 % of the value of your purchase as a restocking fee.
Mirage will NOT refund the cost of opened Software. Mirage
will not refund shipping costs. You are responsible for
shipping the product to Mirage's technical centers, and you
will usually be required to pay for us to send the product
back to you. This criteria is one of the reasons why the
cost of our products is so competitive, and this policy has
been adopted and successfully maintained because of the very
low events of defects on our products. Before returning any
item, you MUST obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
number *, that will be provided by Mirage you after
you notify Mirage of the disfunctionment. This RMA number
MUST then appear on all communication and packages.
Lifetime Free Technical Support
Mirage
will provide email or Telephone assistance to the original
purchaser of an eVector, Mirage, B-Can, Titan, Concorde or
Rafale computer for as long as the original purchaser
continues to possess the product, and at the condition that
the product is still officially and publicly commercialized.
Mirage reserves the right to itself to decide whether one of
its product is still officially and publicly commercialized
or not. Mirage does not support any items or software that
are not Mirage products, which is the responsibility of its
respective manufacturer or editor. Though, Mirage will do
all of its possible to assist the purchaser efficiently in
the best direction to guarantee a maximum of productivity.
Mirage's One Year Limited Parts & Labor Warranty
This
warranty covers the hardware products against defects of
conception in materials for a period of One Year from the
date of the original purchase. If you discover a defect,
Mirage will, at its option, repair, replace or refund the
purchase price of this product at no charge to you, provided
you return the defective item within the Warranty period.
You MUST obtain from Mirage a Return Merchandise
Authorization (RMA) number * prior to shipping your
defective product. The RMA number MUST appear on all
communication and packages.
Other limitations
This
Warranty applies only on Hardware products selected by
Mirage and manufactured by or for Mirage, that can be
identified by the Mirage eVector, Mirage, B-Can, Titan,
Concorde or Rafale Trade Mark, Trade Name or Logo affixed to
them : warranty is voided if these have been removed. Mirage
provides NO warranty whatsoever for any Software provided
with its products, since such Software applications are
warranted separately by their respective manufacturers or
editors. Mirage does NOT warrant any products that are not
Mirage products. This Warranty does not apply if the product
has been modified without written permission from Mirage, or
if any Mirage company related Logo, Serial Number or
Warranty Seal has been removed or defaced. The Warranty and
Remedies set forth above are exclusive and In Lieu of all
others, whether oral or written express or Implied. Mirage
specifically disclaims any or all implied warranties,
including, without limitation, warranties or merchantability
and fitness for a particular purpose. No Mirage dealer,
agent or employee is authorized to make any modification,
extension, or addition to this Warranty. Mirage is NOT
responsible for special, incidental or consequential damages
resulting from any breach of Warranty, or under any other
legal theory, including but not limited to lost profits,
downtime, goodwill damage or replacement of equipment and
property, and any cost of recovering, reprogramming or
reproducing any program or data stored in or used with
Mirage products. Some States do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental damages or exclusions of implied
warranties, so the above limitations or exclusions may not
apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights, and
you may also have other rights that vary from State to
State. The Mirage Warranty Policy applies to end users in
the continental United States of America, Canada and France
only. This warranty does not cover any damages that occurred
on the product after the machine was shipped from our
facilities and received by the purchaser, whether the damage
be accidental or not (this is the transporter's
responsibility). Any loss of data that occurred because of
an operation from the user or because of a defective part in
the machine is at the exclusive responsibility of the user
(who should do backups efficiently and regularly), and thus
Mirage will not be held responsible for any loss of data
involved. Mirage will not be help responsible either for any
loss of software or configuration changed after we shipped
the machine from our facilities, and it is thus the
responsibility of the purchaser to operate backups of his
data, software or any configuration of the machine,
including BIOSes. Nevertheless, the purchaser may request
Mirage's support to attempt any possible data recovery,
software re-installation or any re-configuration possible,
and Mirage may or will charge fees to the purchaser for the
time involved in the recovery process. Such operation will
previously be the object of an estimate to inform the
customer of the situation or cost involved. The purchaser of
any product manufactured by Mirage may obtain at a certain
cost a recovery media enabling him or her to re-install
himself or herself the system or certain applications,
automatically or semi-automatically. Mirage only wishes to
remind the customer of the limits between hardware and
software warranty limitations, but will do all of its
possible to assist the purchaser in the best direction to
guarantee a maximum of productivity.

Features
This warranty applies to eVector and Mirage laptop
series only, purchased from directly Mirage
Computing by our clients from western Europe.
Service for Clients from Western Europe
eVector and Mirage laptops purchased from
Europe benefit from the same complete technical
support and assistance from Mirage as our clients
from the continental United States of America. The
only difference between the support offered to
clients from Europe and those of the continental
USA, is that instead of sending you notebook to our
service centers in the USA, you will send it to our
service center in Germany, thus reducing greatly the
shipping costs. Similarly, you MUST obtain from
Mirage an Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
number * prior to shipping your defective
product. The RMA number MUST appear on all
communication and packages.
Direct orders
Like for our clients from the continental United
States of America, the warranty does cover parts and
labor. Though, it does not cover shipping expenses.
If the product has a defect, you will be responsible
for shipping the product to our service center in
Germany, and we will ship it back to you from our
service center in Germany at no charge. Similarly,
you MUST obtain from Mirage an Return Merchandise
Authorization (RMA) number * prior to
shipping your defective product. The RMA number MUST
appear on all communication and packages.
Orders through our distribution channel You need to contact the distributor whom you
purchased your product from, so they can help you,
as they are fully responsible for all warranty
issues, and you thus have to comply with their
warranty policies, which you agreed with at the date
of purchase.
